Reflexology for Rebalance

What is Reflexology................?

It is a complimentary therapy which has been in existence for some 5000 years. It can be traced back to the ancient Egyptians. It is pressure applied to specific areas of the feet, referred to as reflexes; these correlate to all parts of the body.

It works using the principle of zones therapy, engaging parts of the body's nerve pathways that become blocked by chemical interference often referred to as gritty congestion.

It is a gentle, firm and relaxing method of treating many common ailments and conditions. It helps the body to Re.Balance - holistically.

Practiced in this country since the 1960’s, Reflexology was introduced from the USA by Doreen Bayly a documented authority on the subject.

Today’s lifestyle is stressful. Reflexology as a de–stress therapy is first-class. It is one of the "Big 5" Complimentary Therapies, and today is regarded by many medical professionals as an integral part of palliative care. Reflexology is widely available in Hospice care and is used in progressive clinics around the UK. It is used effectively to help relieve the many symptoms associated with chronic diseases, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neuron Disease, Cancer and Parkinson's. It is used by Midwives around the country to help ease child birth.  For sub-fertility issues Reflexology is also used with some success!
